Surprise, Surprise

WILLIAMSBURG, VA — Mike Trojanowski, the 2002 winner of Carl Spackler Open, really pulled a fast one on the field during the Closest to the Pin contest.  Troj took two shots from 150 yards, one which landed 6 feet from the hole to the win the contest.

"Why is everyone so surprised", said Troj.  "My game is much better than last year.  I really like my chances to repeat next year."  Mike Trojanowski rocketed to the first place during Round 1 and never turned back.

Jay Dilks helped Troj mark the other 34 golf balls, which were played towards the pin.  "Troj really plays much better without beer.  I am thinking about following his lead."
