AMBRIDGE, PA — The On Tour Championship begins with Robby Fustich (i.e. Thompson) unsatisfied with his subpar performance.  Not just subpar, but a three digit, which he hasn't seen in many, many years.  Thompson finished his first round at the Ponderosa Golf Course outside Pittsburgh with 100 strokes and 26 NOOG points.

"I am a little disappointed about the way I played, but I also realize it was a tough course," said Thompson. "28-over par is not where I want to be. Ponderosa is one of the courses near Pittsburgh that Thompson is allowed to play. I need to hit more pure shots and less strokes.  Especially on my home course."

"I am a self-motivated player and I have good things to build on for next year's Official Open," Thompson said. "I think there is always a good shot to win the On Tour Championship."
