GALLOWAY, OH — Jason Watson of Galloway, Ohio has signed a national letter-of-intent to play golf at the 2002 Carl Spackler Open, Captains Club Member Jay Dilks announced today.  Jason is also a Captains Club member and is excited about the upcoming event.

Watson has played remarkably well since his 4th place finish last March.  Randy Watson has shaved 20 strokes off his game.

"Randy is a great golfer and a individual who will contribute to the success of the Open Championship," said Dilks. "I am excited to be on the same course as Randy; he has a great deal of talent and excitement for the game of golf. He will have a successful career at this major."

The Carl Spackler Open is set to kickoff on April 18th with Round 1.  Thirteen players have signed to date.
