Two Days Too Long

September 8, 2005

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA — "Two days was too long," says Jean Dore of Virginia Beach.  "Jean returned to comfort over at Stumpy Lake Golf Course and fired 61 points to regain the lead in the 2005 On Tour Championship.

"I really did not play well off my home course," says Dore.  "I should have never left Stumpy Lake."

The move has players wondering if Jean Dore's handicap maybe inflated or whether he sucks when off his home course of Stumpy.

"He is a pretty smart guy," says Matt Pritchard.  "He is not going to lose out on a great opportunity like winning the On Tour Championship.  I do not know if he has everyone won anything in his life so he must take what he can get."

His 61 points were setup by 39 strokes on the back nine including a birdie on the 368-yard par 4.  Dore finished 10-over par.

Jean holds a 1/2 point advantage over Ravinder Bakshi and 7/10 of a point over Tom Fowble going into the middle of September.

The Red Zone Alert expires in 37 days.
